Dr. Zakir Hussain(1897-1969), born in Hyderabad, हैदराबाद में जन्मे डॉ जाकिर हुसैन 1897-1969, was one of our greatest freedom fighters as well as eminent educationist. हमारे सबसे महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों के साथ-साथ एक प्रख्यात शिक्षाविद भी थे Dr Husain become the President of India in 1967. डॉक्टर हुसैन 1967 में भारत के राष्ट्रपति बने। Earlier he had served as the Governor of Bihar इससे पहले उन्होंने बिहार के राज्यपाल के रूप में कार्य किया था, ‘Bharat Is My Home’ is an extract from the speech “भारत इज माय होम” भाषण से लिया गया है He gave in 1967 after taking the oath as president, जिसे उन्होंने राष्ट्रपति के रूप में शपथ लेने के बाद 1967 में दिया था, in his first speech at the President of India भारत के राष्ट्रपति के रूप में अपने पहले भाषण में, Dr Zakir Hussain pledges himself डॉ जाकिर हुसैन संकल्प लेते हैं “to the service of the totality of India’s culture” भारत की संस्कृति की समग्रता/ ” सम्पूर्णता कि सेवा करने का.

I most confess that I am overwhelmed by the trust my people have placed in me by electing me to the highest office in the land…. मैं स्वीकार करता हूँ मुझे खुशी है कि मुझमें विश्वास करके मेरे लोगों ने मुझे देश के सर्वोच्च पद के लिए चुना है।

This dual effort will give to the life of our State a special flavour यह दोहरा प्रयास हमारे राज्य के जीवन को एक विशेष स्वाद देगा।. For the State to us wil not be just an organisation of power but a moral organisation हमारे लिए राज्य केवल शक्ति का संगठन नहीं बल्कि एक नैतिक संगठन होगा।. It is a part of national temperament and inheritance from the great leader of our liberation movement, Mahatma Gandhi, यह हमारे मुक्ति आंदोलन के महान नेता महात्मा गांधी से राष्ट्रीय स्वभाव और विरासत का एक हिस्सा है that power should be used only for moral purposes इस शक्ति का उपयोग केवल नैतिक उद्देश्यों के लिए किया जाना चाहिए।. ‘Bharat Is My Home’ is the part of the speech delivered by Dr. Zakir Hussain jast after taking the oath as the president of India. He thanks the people of the country who have considered him able for this highest office of the nation. He them pledges himself to the loyalty of our country and its people respective of caste, creed and language. He says India is his home and its people are his family members. He asks the people to come forward and help him in the great task of buiding the character of our nation. He says self development is first necessary to ensure the development of the society. He believes the past is alive and dynamic, it is not dead. It decides the quality of the present and the prospect of our future. Education is the most important element in determining the quality of a nation. He calls for dedicated work towards the overall development of our country to make it a prosperous place to live in.

भारत इज माई होम’ भाषण का एक हिस्सा है डॉ जाकिर हुसैन के द्वारा दिया हुआ ठीक बाद शपथ ग्रहण कर लेने के भारत के राष्ट्रपति के रूप में। वो देश के लोगों को ध्न्यवाद देते हैं जिन्होंने उन्हें समझा राष्ट्र के इस सर्वोच्य कार्यालय के लिए। वो तब खुद शपथ लेते हैं वफादारी की हमारे देश के और इसके लोगों के प्रति बगैर विभेद किये हुए जाति, धर्म और भाषा में। वो कहते हैं भारत मेरा घर है और इसके लोग उनके परिवार के सदस्य। वा लोगों से आहवान करते हैं आने के लिए आगे और मदद करने के लिए उनको हमारे देश के आचरण के महान निर्माण कार्य में। वो कहते हैं अपना विकास पहले जरूरी है सुनिश्चित करने के लिए समाज के विकास को।
